About Alan Pongetti

I am a certified music teacher, state of Arizona, K-12. I taught music for six years private and public. One of my private students was recently accepted to the Arizona School for the Arts.

I attended the University of Southern California as a music performance major in Classical Guitar. After receiving my Bachelor of Music Degree in Guitar Performance from DePaul University in Chicago, I went on to Peabody Conservatory of Music, Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, Maryland, as a special student in graduate guitar studies. There I studied for two years under the renowned classical guitar teacher Aaron Shearer.
